Reading the Qur’an and benefitting the dead?

Is reading quran and forwarding(bakshna) it to our dead is allowed in Islam or not. Does it has any daleel?

Yes, it is allowed in Islam to read the Holy Qur’an & send the benefit to the dead.

It is mentioned in Mirqat, commentary of Mishkat:
It means that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said: If a person enters into a graveyard and recites Surah Fatiha, Sura Ikhlas and Surah Takasur and sends the rewards to the dead Muslims men and women, they will intercede him before Allah.
(Dar Qutni, Bab Ziyarat al-Quboor 4/82)

There are other narrations in this regard. Allama Ibn Taimiya in his Fatwas and his disciple Allama Ibn al-Qayyim in his book Kitab al-Rooh has explained this matter in detail. Briefly, it means that it is established the rewards of the good deeds can be dedicated to the dead.
